Tunze Noise?

How loud are tunze streams when running? I dont want to get a pump when they are noisy, are they louder than koralias?

I have a Tunze 6080 mounted on the magnetic glass mount that you buy seperately.

It does make noise, a constant hummmmmm actually. I would say it's as loud as a double outlet airpump, but no louder. I have a very tall tank at 80cms high and the Tunze is mounted near to the bottom on the rear wall so the waves that the thing makes are actually more noisey than the powerhead itself!!

Have no idea about how they compare to a Koralia. You won't regret adding either for additional flow, my fish go surfing all day and are so skilled now that you wouldn't even know there was high flow in the tank unless you saw the anenome and corals wavings around! Also there are a million little creatures on your live rock that just seem to 'come alive' when there is really good flow in the tank. Best thing I ever did.

I don't notice any noise from mine, especially when you mix in the hum of lights and a return pump. I have noticed that Koralia's rattle.

Mine only were loud the first day or two of running. After that, I couldn't even notice them.

I have 6101's and they make no noise that is noticeable.
