hi i think i have these little snails eating my soft corals

i have had my leather coral for 6 months doing really well,

Now half of it is gone, i took it out to find these little snails on there, which look like to me that they are eating it any suggestions are most appreciated

I was thinking about getting a fish that would eat bugs/snails which one though would be suitable

Thanks

my tank is 50g running 2 years it has pair of clowns and a coral beauty that’s it on the fish front

And then a mixture of softies and lps

i have a sump with cheato and a skimmer and the right amount of live rock for the amount of gallons i have.

A pic might be helpful in determining what kind of snail etc... they are.

Maybe a mantis shrimp would get them :D

If thy are small like a 1/4 inch or so, I read about those, don't remember the name. They don't carry their shells the same as the other snails, but more like a button laying flat.

I'm sure there are plenty of critters that would feast on the snails. Crabs and shrimps to start. Which are reef safe, I do not know.

justdiving,
I think that you are talking about sundial snails that prey on zoas. Not sure if they attack other softies.
