quick question

hi im going to be upgrading my tank soon from a 50 to a 90 and was wondering if i use all my live sand, live rock, and water and ill be adding more water since im upgrading to a larger tank. but will i have to cycle again or will i be fine and it will be like doing a large water change?

Do not use the same sand. You will stir up nutrients and have another cycle. I would use 50% tank water and 50% new water in the change. Everything else should be fine.

i was thinking about just buying some more sand and using my old sand to seed it.

That will work. I wouldn't use any more than a cup though.
