I have a thirty gallon (approx) total system volume. I currently have

Two Clarki Clowns
One Yellow Finned Blue Damsel
One Bi Colour Blenny
One Blood Red Shrimp
One Hermit Crab
Two Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp
Two Cowries

Does anyone here think I'm overstocked. The tank is skimmed and has a denitrator and refugium. GAC is also run. Everything looks great, was just wondering?

what are your water params?

I would say you're over stocked for the simple reason that the Yellow Finned Blue Damsel can get quite large...as can Clarki Clowns. IMO, with a pair of Clowns, you should have no more than 1 other small fish.

that's that newfangled celsius stuff ain't it? your levels seem fine. and damsels take a long time to get big. clowns might even murder it by then

Current Tanks: 30 Gal Tank. Fish Invertebrates and Live Rock but no corals due to a ban

This really bothers some people :)

Why does it bother them?

Honestly, seems fine to me and if your parameters are still in check you should be fine. Personally, though, I wouldn't add any more.

I think your hermit crab is really pushing things a bit. Ditch that and you ought to be fine.

Two cowries? I am not sure those are okay. I thought they needed a bit more real estate or they would starve. Someone help me out on that, it has been awhile.

due to a ban?

The Government has banned the collection of live coral for aquarium trade. Foolishly though, there is no ban on breaking coral for construction purposes, decorative items etc... The Aquarium trade had been sustainably managing the reefs, but well.... Nonsense if you ask me.

You aren't overstocked now, but you have clowns that will get huge eventually, so keep that in mind.

Thank you all for the info... Hopefully, the clowns habitat will grow with them if you get what I mean... thanks...
