Before adding a Blue Gudgeon or two to my 180 mixed up reef, I wanted to find out more about them from someone who has kept them. Tankmates are all small or non agressive.

Dartfish tend to bury themselves in the sand and I was concerned they may be disruptive if they dig a lot or move from place to place.

Do they get along in groups? If I want two, is there any way to tell the boys from the girls?

What has been your experience?

BUMP

Has anyone kept these?

I see them in stores pretty often.

They are not big diggers, no problem. From what i was tolled, males have yelowish tails and females transparrent ones. as 2 keeping as a group i'd like to know 2. Handsome fish, buy shy to the extreme. Likely to inhabit the goby-shrimp borow if available, and will be tolerated.
Currently have a pair in quarantine, and would consider a larger group.
