Does anyone know to make the coral line spread around in the whole tank. Any special technique? I'm really into the purple color of the coral line. Just want it to spread around in the whole tank.

ah! Coralline!
Increase your magnesium level to about 1500 and your calcium to about 450 and it will be pretty good coralline growth.

Hmmmm....Do i have to make sure that the pH is within the range?...or whether there is any other chemicals or things that will interfere with the uptake of magnesium by coralline?

By the way, alomst forgot. Parts of my live rock has turned black. Seems really weird. Why is this happening? And is it harmful to the tank?...

Coraline will spread by itself with reasonable conditions.

How long will it take? Well, that will depend on your water conditions, size of tank, surface area of new rock, and I assume the surface are of your existing algae. For my tank (90gal) it took 6 months for the rocks to purple-up.

I am in bangkok, by the way.
And with reasonable conditions, what parameters of the conditions for coralline to grow well?.....
