Does anyone top off direct from RO/DI.

I know this isn't recommended, but I have no place to put a large water supply. I am sometimes gone for extended periods of time. So, I'm looking for ways to make the best of this.

Has anyone done a system using redundant fail safes. i.e., multiple solenoids or similar?
