Is this a good filter to buy?Eheim Wet/Dry Canister Filters 2229

I am new to the saltwater game. I am starting up a 37 gallon tank with live rock and maybe some corals. Is this a good filter to get and what else for equipment will i need? What is the best hang on style skimmer???

I usually suggest doing most of the filtration with live rock and a protein skimmer. A canister filter can be good for running carbon or a phosphate media, though. I wouldn't buy a wet-dry at all.
