I am thinking in my upgrade to 55 gallons that I will use koralia pumps for flow. That is about it.

Which ones and how many do you think I need.

I have one Koralia #1 in my 29 cube which will be put into the 55. It is 400 gph.

Would two of those be enough for a 55 gallon tank or do I need more or more powerful?

Thanks

I have two Koralia #3's in my 75gal and was considering going to 4's in the future when My tank has more corals. You could definitely move up to the 2's and maybe even the 3's, depending on what kind of corals you are keeping since the flow requirements maybe different for the types you have.

So far I have no corals. Just an sebae anemone. I want to make sure there is good flow everywhere. I guess the protein skimmer and the overflow would create some movement, but I want to make sure I have no dead spots. Don't want things (sand) flying around either.

Two numbers twos is sufficient. It's what I'm running right now

A couple of twos would most likely be a nice addition.

I would go with at least 2 #3

Can I mix, or should they be the same? I have a 1. Still want to incorporate that, or would I make the flow too uneven?

I would use the 1 also. Its a trial and error thing, Just see how your tank looks, how are your inhabitants acting and adjust the flow as needed.
