Currently have a 55 gallon FOWLR that I'm slowly converting to reef (anemones & LPS). I'm currently running a Prizm with a Fluval 304 with carbon.

I'm not satisfied with the Prizm as it produces virtually no skimmate whatsoever, so I'm looking to change to either a Bak Pak or Remora.

I'm limited to HOB for now (until I upgrade to my 300 gallon) because my 55 does not have room for a sump.

Anyone have opinions on which HOB Skimmer is better?

Remora, hands down. the bakpak is horrible.

I agree, I have a remora on a 46 gallon and it works great for me

Neither of those are very good skimmers.

For a 55G get the Bermuda or the Deltec MCE600 or the ATB hob cone that is coming soon.

Octopus isn't bad for the buck.

Octo 300f, bermuda rogue, deltec mce600 or the atb coming out. The remora is pure junk. I'd take the prism over it any day of the week.
