Who has or has had a 12gal aquapod and fan went out?

So just to add to the stress happening in my life, I turned on my aquapod and the fan made a muffled sound and now it sounds like it wants to start up, but it can't.

So what can I do to fix it?
Where can get a replacement fan?
Can any fan do?
How hard is it to replace it?




Please help me out.

And I was jut going to sell it,but I can't do it any time now.

Well I can tell you that my fan also has been making noise. It stops making noise after it runs a while. I expect it to stop working soon. I think its get mosture in it. When it no longer work I'll just take it a part and clean it. If that does not help I will replace it with another fan. I think you can get something that fits in a hardware store. I think the worst thing that can happen it your tank will get a little warm. Just prop the lid up just a bit, untill you can replace the fan. Or use an external fan. Hope this helps.

Well it is not completely dead yet but the noise it is making is very faint and the fan is VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYY slow, basically not turning. I don't want to leave it on just in case it malfuntions!

Try the air in a can. Just try to blow it out to see if that helps.
