Does anyone have a picture/setup of their sump in the basement that is about 9 ft + 4 (height of the tank)? What kind of pump do you use to push the water?

I'm using a Mag 18 in the sump against about 14 foot of head. I have a couple of pictures here:

I'm using an Iwaki 100 choked way back for about 15 feet of head. It delivers enough flow wide open to blast water out of the tank and hit the far windows. Wish I'd gone much smaller; but a ball valve in the line is still a good idea so you have options.

I'm using an Iwaki 70 pressure pump. If I remember correctly, I have around 24ft of head(fair amount of horizontal ). Still needs throttled back a bit.

I'm using a blueline 70. I'm pushing about 1400gph through the overflow.

I added two penductors and recommend it to anyone running a pressure pump that needs extra flow for little cost.

What are you looking for in the pictures? I am doing a basement sump so I have bookmarked a bunch of them -

Enough for you?

I looked into the pump, and just ordered a Sequence Marlin, as the pressure rated pumps were recommended. Let me know if you have any other questions.

i'm running a Coralife 1740 hp from basement with about 11' of head, with a relief line back to sump to relieve pressure on pump valve is way open into sump.

I use a pressure rated UNO Marlin pump for my return with 15' of vertical head plus a 24' horizontal run. It puts out about 1,250 gph at the tank at 300 watts, and I still have to throttle it back. I also run my carbon, phosban and calcium reactors off it.

I use a GenX Mak4 and it works great. You will see it in the first picture down on the floor on the left side of the sump.

These pictures are about a year old and its changed a little bit, but you get the idea.
