i wanted to ask those of you running different wattage bulbs
i bought an electronic icecap 175w ballast for my 75, and if i cant find another one for a good price im going to take apart my 24" fixture and use the icecap electronic 250w from it.
obviously one is SE and the other is DE, both electronic ballasts and made by IceCap, am i going to notice a huge difference between the two when theyre over my tank? I plan on running 14k bulbs. I want to know if the 250 will be a lot brighter, slightly brighter, or not noticeable.
Also, what will i be expecting for growth from either one on the 75g tank? Will i expect SPS to grow faster under the 250w than under the 175w?
