I feel like a crook, the local store sold me this fish for $20. It is about 5 inches long, the pics dont do the blue highlights justice.

I don't think that is a fairy wrasse. At least not from pictures supplied.

when it flares its fins it is obviously a fairy wrasse. Long streaming fins on its underside. I guess I could be wrong, but it has the mouth and eyes of a fairy wrasse too.

its a fairy wrasse. i've seen that at the LFS and the blues that pop out are just CRAZY. body structure resembles Lineatus and Pink Margins.

looking at it the colors on the body seem faded. I am hoping in a few weeks time they will come out. There are very faint blue lines on the face and faint orange on the fins highlighted by the bright blue. Those pics were taken 10 minutes after release out of the bag it came in.

WHATEVER it *is* it is certainly a beautiful fish. 20 bucks huh? LOL.

The guy that sold it to me had this look on his face like he was waiting for somebody to snatch it up. Needless to say he does not do the pricing. He said somebody brought it in and dropped it off. No credit was given or anything. They originally had $30 on it, but it wasnt there last week and they had already marked it down to $20. Doesnt make sense to me.
