Two weeks ago fraged my Orange Monti and put it in a Nano under T5 lights. The water parameters look good, except the frag now looks like a brown Cap. The doesn't appear to be tissue loss, just color change. Ideas??

You have probably irritated the heck out of it with so much light suddenly. People don't realize how much light T5's put out. You might try moving it a good bit lower until it recovers and then move it back up gradually. If it's already at the bottom, try partially shading it and reducing the photoperiod for a bit and then gradually easing it back into full light.

more nutrients in your nano...may be providing the symbiotic algae with more food then your other tank may have...thus causing it to turn brown...as that is the colour of the algae...

brown out could also be lack of light.....i dont think it is too much light...
