Hello,
I bought an used tank. Person had broken down the week before and he had some polyps and a sarco leather put aside.

It has been one month and the polyps are alive and thriving.

The leather is still a shriveled ball. But it is showing some green glow at its top.

Is is dead? How long before arises is resonable to wait?

Should I throw it out before it rots and soils my tank?

40 breeder tank

Thanks

It is probably just shedding and getting used to new parameters.

As long as it doesn't start breaking down and falling apart, it should be fine. Just be sure to give the Leather decent water flow to help it cleanse the corals tissue.
