version 2.1, how to upgrade

I have version 2.1

how do I update this, I believe when I ordered this back in sept last year I got the serial plug for my pc , not sure if thats what I need ?

You have what you need. Download the firmware. Run both programs and then attach it to your RK2. Make sure if you use a laptop you plug it in. Stoping in the middle would be very bad.

Make sure you write down your settings because the only bad thing about upgrading is you have to reprogram your RK2.

What do you mean by run both programs ??

I Believe he means to run both the "one time driver file update" and the 2.5 firmware update program. (both available from support section of the website)
