Question for Klaus - Custom made BK Deluxe skimmers

Hi Klaus,

Can you make a custom BK skimmer?

I am looking at the Deluxe 250 Internal. I would like to keep all dimensions the same EXCEPT the height of the collection cup (the diameter of the cup is fine for me).

I would like to reduce the height of the collection cup and its neck to the same height as the collection cup on the Submarine 250 (I think it's 6 and 5/16".

I have 2 questions about this:

1) Can this be made?
2) How will this affect the performance of the skimmer?

it´s possible, no Problem...

the affect i s no difference, the Deluxe modells you can finetuning with Telescop-pipes .

Klaus, I have some follow-up questions:

1) How do I order this custom cup and skimmer? How much will it cost?

2) Which skimmer do you recommend for my tank? It is 180g (~240g total volume). 60+ SPS and plan to stock heavy on fish.

Deluxe 200 with custom cup
Deluxe 250 with custom cup
SM 200
SM 250

I think, a Deluxe skimmer is better, when you have SPS-tank...
Are you want skimming wet and quick, is the Supermarines the better skimmer for you.
A Deluxe is better for adjustment,
A Supermarines is better, when you have rar Space in the sump.... the Supermarines are smaller...

Klaus, that's great news that the custom collection cup doesn't cost anything extra. I will probably order the Deluxe model then.

Do you recommedn the Deluxe 200 or Deluxe 250 for my tank?

180g (240g total volume) with 18g refugium filled with chaeto
60+ SPS frags right now
Plan to have heavy fish load with at least 4 tangs and 4 anthias.
