This is a cool shot of one of the swimming pools at Hotel Del Coronado. It overflows so it's really flat. I love bokeh ;)

I used a 50mm F/1.8, a 105mm F/2.8 Macro, and a 12-24mm F/4 in the shots.

Camera is a Nikon.

Thanks for looking! =)

Was the sea dragon for sale at a store or at a public aquarium? I lived in SD for a little while and I don't remember a public aquarium near scripps

It's at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps. I think it's literally right next to / attached to Scripps.

It's a well known public aquarium, and one of the few places to get free NSW (the other one I know of is UCSB's which rocks big time).

It's pretty big, and has a tank with 3 leafy ones like the pictured, and a few of the other kinds that are smaller (don't remember the name).

These are illegal to collect if I remember correctly.

Dang not sure how I missed that place I guess I wasn't really into the hobby at the time, I knew scripps more for its surf spot.

I feel you on that one. I was at UCSB for 4 years, never knew about the amazing free NSW they have (probably the best water you can get for your tank period.) Now graduated and 400 miles away, I can't get it.

The water at UCSB is also close to a well known surf spot in the area as well. LOL

You have a great talent for compositions. I hope to one day reach half your level in that area!
