They are supposedly Purple Deaths, 28 of them on the rock, although the biggest 2 of them are hidden, these are mostly just smaller than a dime, the 2 big ones are on the back side of the rock. Paid a fair sum for them, but they are worth it... like all of them are.. LOL

Yep, even more purple than the picture shows... believe it or not they are hanging out under 18 watts of 50/50 PC light

They look great for being under PC's... What lighting did your friend have them under??? Hopefully they won't fade... I know plenty that keep their PD's under PC's have problems with them looking more brown than purple...

They came from under 5 54 watt t5 bulbs in a 24" deep tank, they were right out in the open about half way up. I have a 36x30x20 tank with 6 T5's cycling, so they should only have to suffer in the nano's lighting for a couple weeks.

Yup those are PD's. I have a friend (LFS) that I gave some PD's to that turned brown under his 4 T5s. I guess those were used to being under 8 T5s. At least a bunch of the NG's and some of the collector zoos/palys I gave him are still doing good.
