Octopus skimmer question

Would I be better off with the one with the pump on the inside with a surface skimmer or the one with the pump on the outside with no surface skimmer. I am figuring if I get the pump on the inside I will not be able to mod the pump?:confused:

For a 29g you don't need to mod it, if your talking about the 100f hot that is.

yea that's the one but one has a surface skimmer and the pump inside and the other has the pump on the outside. Should I get the one with the surface skimmer and filter chamber?
