I'm starting to find tiny brittle stars every where I keep seeing them even in my chateo when I'm harvesting, Now how do I know if they will grow up to be big or if they are a pygmi species?

I have tiny white ones all over my tanks. I don't know the name, but they stay that small.

Are they like these?

If they are... these are great to have... and wont get bigger than about 1/2 across...

Check your tank at night with a red light, if you haven't already. You may be surprised by how many stars you see in the LR. In my tank, they all remain the size of a dime.

They will not grow big nor multiply W/O lots of food. Are you worried or just curious??
