My tank is 4 months old. I just moved all the LR around. I wasn't too happy with the previous look. The tank is tall at 28" so it was a bit challenging to make good use of the space. Let me know what you guys think of my new look.

I absolutelly love it! This is sort of what i have in mind for my 90.

What did you use to stack the rocks?

I'm debating between zip ties, adhesive cement, egg crate, a PVC frame and drilling acrylic rods (or all of the above).

Looks good but if your going to keep corals there is not much room for them. The 1st look had more ledges and surfaces to place coral. If you are doing a FOWLR then nice.

i think it looks great! As far as mounting corals, you are going to need a good bit of epoxy and a bunch of patience to mount on the sides of the pillars. But, the payoff is definitely worth it. Make sure you take a lot of pictures when you start to fill it in! I am also curious to how you stacked the rock securely.

Thanks, everyone!

JIMKELLY: I used marine epoxy for the taller tower. I'm not sure if I will be doing corals yet. For now its FOWLR and in the future an anemone. I'm thinking of putting epoxy on most of the rock this next weekend when I do my water change.

Looking good, looks like a tech tank you got there. Oceanic?

I don't know if it is a tech tank. I bought it in 2003 and had not set it up until 4 months ago. It is an Oceanic though. Would love a rimless cube tank in the future (custom 40x40x24) One can dream :)

Looks great, and I wouldn't worry about not having any shelves for corals...I mean, there's got to be some reason they invented epoxy, right? ;)

Looks great. Personally, I think there's plenty of room for coral if you epoxy that on too, just kind of directed outwards. Montiporas fanning the tower like they're shelf fungi on a tree would look fantastic IMO.

Thanks everyone! I am proud of it ;)
OOOOOhh, I like the way you think widmer. I've thought about getting one later, but really don't know anything about them. They are gorgeous though. I'll look into it.
