protein skimmer help

I have a 20 gallon tank in the cycling process, I am preparing to buy my skimmer. Any recommandations? Any one using the Fission Nano-Skimmer?

That skimmer is a very poor design and takes up lots of tank space. Look for a used CPR bak-pak, coralife CS65, or remora hang-on-back skimmer. They'll do much better than the Fission for under $100.

Please do not waste your money on a Fission Nano Skimmer. I did and regretted it! I'm currently running skimmerless on my nano (I have no fish just critters) until I can find something that suits my needs.

I used a Deltec MCE300 on my 20G and it is awesome. IMO it's the mest nano skimmer on the market, but it's very expensive. I've read up on a lot of the skimmers, but I've only tried a few some I'm a little biased.

i use a tunze nano skimmer and im please with it very much it was not a bad price either
