Has anyone kept a Koran and Singapore angel in a reef tank? If so can I have some pics? Did they eat any of the coral?

I tried a Koran. He was fat and happy eating all my softies until he was evicted.

How did you catch him?

He was easy. He always waited at the top at feeding time. Just poured some food in and scoop. He was given to a fellow reefer who had a fish only tank.

Korans are supposed to be one of the more destructive species in a reef, singapores are much smaller but are noted in being one of the few angels in the wild who have been observed to actively feed on the slime produced by LPS corals. I have heard that singapores leave most other corals alone.

I've run into trouble with Korans when they got larger.....OK as juvies and then turned into coral-munching terrors within a fairly short period of time. No experience with Singapores.

I have had these in the tank over 2 years. I thought mybe I could have the angels with coral. I could not catch them so I thought I could try and leve them in the tank and ad some coral. I guess I was wrong.
