So I busted out the red lens flashlight last night and saw my tank absolutely CRAWLING with copepods; big ones, little ones, fat ones, skinny ones....any tips for my next addition? The tank is 7 months old, 55g with 80# of LR, a 20g sump, a LTA, pair of GSM clowns, two yellow tail damsels, and a zebra damsel...

I'm sure there is a starving mandarin at an LFS around you that would love to come home to that.

yeah, remove the damsels. You have 4 known aggressive damsels in a tiny 55g tank. Add furture additions with caution and do some research so you don't put in a wimpy fish that one or more of those 4 will chase out of the tank.

And I'll second the mandarin as well. I wouldn't buy a starving one though. Still choose the healthiest specimen you can find.

I'm moving to a 180; when I do I'll actually catch the damsels. The only one that's aggressive is the zebra, which will go back to the LFS as soon as the 180 finishes cycling. There's too much rock for me to be moving around chasing a fish. I might be over 80#...I haven't weighed it.
