I'm in the process of determining what I want to do for a refugium. On one hand I could do a display refugium (but costs more $$$).
On the other hand, I could do a HOB Refugium (CPR Aquafuge 2).

I'm just curious, those who use an HOB Refugium... do you get results? Did you see your nitrates and phosphates lower to zero or almost zero?

I'm curious if they are big enough to support a tank... It would be on a 36g corner.

Please let me know.

A fuge in general will help with these levels. They are not instant potions so I would say if you have problems with:

Nitrates - Water change is your best friend

Phosphate - Maybe running some GFO?

Good Luck!:)

benefits are said to be many using a fuge

but wouldnt count on it to bring down your phosphate levels...
might be (definitely) better off using phosphate reactor.
