I'm thinking about changing from Aquarium Pharms filter media to Chemi-pure. Can anyone give it positive/negative endorsements?

Thanks...
Chief

What is your objective in using this product ?

I haven't used it but from reading the boards, it is much like many other products out there. Some people swear by it and others just use a good quality carbon like Rox, Matrix or Black Diamond. :)

Are you talking about biological filtration media or removing organics ?

Removing organics

A good quality carbon does the trick.

I hear Rox is the best. I use Seachems Matrix which is supposed to be better than average and a lot of reefers use Black Diamond.

To answer your original question, I doubt Chemi-pure does anything more than the three GAC's I've mentioned. :)
