Stain to match all glass aquarium's modern cherry stand??

i have an all glass aquarium modern style stand, in their cherry finish....

im contemplating ordering a taller canopy to be able to accom. larger metal halides, but want to make sure i can match it to the stand as it would come unfinished...

anybody know which stain/finish i would use to match the all glass aquarium stand with their cherry finish???

You can take a door of your stand to any "good" paint store and they can do a stain match.

anybody have any other suggestions? im pretty sure all glass uses the same finish/stain on all of their products...im specifically looking for the one to match their cherry finish....

Go to AGA's website and contact them. They will help you out. I once brought a stained piece of wood to the hardware store to get a matching stain and they ended up being WAY off with the color.

You should give a sample piece of the wood that is going to be used also, different woods take a stain differently.

Just a note, my friend has that same stand in Cherry, I do not think the exterior is real wood, it feels like a lamenent.
