mexican turbo funny behavior

Just up looking at my tank with my red flashlight. One of my larger Mexican Turbos, is rearing up on the hind part of his foot, and using his radula to groom or lick the front part of his foot. Have you ever seen this? When I first shined the light on him, he stopped and returned to a more normal pose, but he soon went back to it.

I've seen mine do this quite a few times, they sorta shrivel up the front of the foot. Never really figured out what he was doing. Mine also has an affinity for twisting his shell and tapping it on the glass.
