Suggestions on what I need, can I get away with 3 250 watt 20xm single ended bulbs on a standard 180? I will be keeping mostly sps, the tank will be 24 inches deep at the maximum.

If you have pulse-start/HQI for the 250's I would strongly suggest the Radium 250wattSE's.
