Sea Swirl rebuild

i just got my hands on a sea swirl that is not functioning at the moment. I plug it in and you can feel the motor running but it will not oscillate. Has anyone ever had one apart? Can I get it rebuilt from the company? any suggestion will be appreciated.

I'd just open her a up and check the linkage between the motor and the pipe.

Cool. But what if something in there needs to be replaced?

you can have them rebuilt and I believe they sell the parts as well.

If it's just the linkage, you can get the parts at a hobby store. Same linkage they use on rc car servos.

I just opened it up. It is the same linkage as the RC car servos. Unfortunately it is the motor itself. It is stripped. Does any one know how much the motor cost?

If replacing the original Autotrol motor with this one you will need to cut out the two rear 1/4" long "screw bosses" that are molded into the top of the outer box, or the top half of the box will not close completely onto the bottom half of the box.
