Good news, I finally figured out how to take some decent shots with my camera so I thought I would share some pics with everyone. Unfortunately the color in the pics just dont do justice to the real thing! If you have any advice on how to get better color in pics please let me know. I just started collecting rics a couple months ago and i am definitely addicted with them. hope you enjoy the pics as much as i do the real thing.:D

Nice stuff.....Rics are the top o' the line mushroom as far as I'm concerned....I got a hefty collection myself and always looking to add more. Have you tried to change the white balance in the settings? Sometimes with that you can get the camera to take colors that are closer to the real thing....Either way great pics and rics....

thanks azurel, i have seen your collection you have some awesome stuff. I have been wanting a yellow for a while i am just waiting for ken to get some in and i am going to add to my little rainbow of rics. I will check my camera for the white balance setting. not sure but that may do the trick.

Yea yellows are sweet, I have seen some that are yellow but turn green. Most of those on-line will have yellows but in the proper light conditions they tend to turn green. I paid $45 for a yellow that was supposed to be a true yellow but after 3 months in the tank it is now a yellowish lime green. I had a true yellow a guy sent me just to prove they exist cause it was a bit of a argument on here one time. I was proven quite wrong on that fact.....So just careful that you don't over pay for a green ric that has faded......

Wow that's pretty awesome Azurel. I definitely do not believe there are pink rics anymore. :)

I didn't believe there was pink Florida ricordea either till I got one, paid less then I did for the yellow and is by far my favorite coral in the tank. Personally I think the pink Florida ricordea that I got from a buddy down in Florida is more rare then the Pink Yumas that we see.......The cool part is I have 3 now after the gravitational propagation I did to it. After the first one I did it again and within 2 weeks I had it stretched out so far that another one popped off. The cool part is the main polyp is just as big if not bigger now 4 weeks later after the last time......Much better and healthier on the coral then putting a blade to it....I have done that to but not to this one.....These things are worse a collection to me then zoanthids and palys have been.....

Nice rics, but the color temperature setting needs some adjustment.
