Its time for me to change out my bulbs and was hoping to get some suggestions. I have currently a 660 ballast with vhos. 1 have one 5 ft and two 4ft w/reflectors. Would like to get more output on lights. Thinking about going. w/four 4ft or three 5ft but not sure if i can run the three 5ft on the 660. Have mixed reef. No sps. but have a lta. Any suggestion on light combo would be appreciated......thanx

One ballast can operate any combination, up to 4 lamps, with a total not exceeding 440 Watts.
I think that getting two more 4ft with reflectors would be your best bet unless you wanna buy another ballast. 4x110w=440 which is the max on a single 660 and it would give you 20 more watts then three 5 footers. 3x140w=420.

Thats sounds good. I guess I could off set the 4's to cover the 5 ft tank. What about the bulbs. What would be a good specturm for corals and lta.
