I was thinking about getting a cy 192 for my 75 gal but not sere how good it is for the money. Anyone got any exp. with these?

no not yet and i really dont want to go over 300 but will go up to 400

I think you are better off going with a skimmer and a 10g tank turned into a sump

for 300 you could have a few nice skimmers and a 10g tank for 10 bucks some DIY baffles would be easy to put in the sump.

I got one on my 70..
Took out the bio bale, replaced it with LR.
The skimmer works GREAT!!!!
Pulls out a lot of thick skimmate.
The best thing about a plexiglass sump is it's easy to drill.
I added an auto top off system to mine which is the best thing I have ever done since getting into this hobby.
In short.
I am very pleased.;)
