I'm looking for a way to shut off my pumps for a set period of time while I feed my reef. I want the pumps to come back on automatically because I don't always remember

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Greg

Appliance timer and automatic feeder with a built-in timer.

The only problem I see with an appliance timer is unless you change the settings everytime you use it, it will automatically shut off and back on again each day whether your feeding or not. I want something so that when I randomly feed my tank I can simply push a button that starts a count down timer for say 5 or so minutes, shutting off all the powerheads to reduce flow etc. Then it automatically turns the pumps back on after the set time.
Thanks,
Greg

Some wavemakers will do this if that's what you're looking for. My ReefKeeper 1 does this for me.

It sounds like this wont be a inexpensive item then?

PM DonW, he has kits to convert American Dj switch boxes. The kit turns one plug into a feeding timer outlet.
