asm g-2 skimmer mod

hello all

i was wondering if anyone out there did the gate valve mod for an asmg-2. i just needed the measurements of the pipes. i have the gate valve, the 90 and the t. i think i also need a cap which i have. i would greatly appreciate if someone can throw those measurements out. i was on the asm site where it shows all the mods but they dont tell you the measurements.

I did one on mine a while back and all i did was make the section coming off the skimmer going to the tee long enough so the gate valve was out of the water and the section of pipe that comes out of the top of the tee was about even with the bottom of the collection cup. I added a 45 fitting and 2 short sections after the gate valve to direct the water where i wanted it. Also i didn't glue any of it together so it could be cleaned easier.

hay its a yokal. thanx for the reply cove. i think that might be enough info to put me in the mood to do this mod now. how do you like your mod? did you do the mesh mod yet?
