ok so im going with a wet dry systum (dont want to dal with all the pluming hassle yet) but i as wandering what would probably be the best one to buy for cheap?

From what I hear Wet/Dry can be ok for Fish only tanks (maybe not the best) but definitely not good for reef tanks.

What are you planning to keep?

I would rethink the wet dry idea. A simple sump set up is no more complicated than a wet/dry with out all of the nitrate issues. And a whole lot cheaper.

hey thannks for the advice guy. making a sump out a 10g just bought a reef octo nw- 150 putting that on one side and making the other side of the sump a refuge. BUT was wandering what type of sand i should use and if i should use mud or whatnot let me know what you think thanks!!!!
