I have been using Gaussboys epoxy coated magnets to hold my modded maxijets in place but recently one of the magnets rusted from the super glue gel that i used to hold the magnets to the powerhead. The glue must have eroded the epoxy.

Is there anywhere that makes magnets that are coated in rubber or something that wont rust?

thanks

I bought a small mag float and glued it to a bracket attached to the powerhead. Haven't had a problem since.

They also sell a rubbercoating called "dip it" in most hardware stores. Its a DIY coating. It should be ok, im not positive on it though.

i am just going to use the plasti-dip i have if someone can inform me whether or not the super glue will eventually chew through the coating of plastidip? and is the plastidip 100% reef safe?
