DONT USE SPRING WATER USE DISTILLED WATER ONLY

what kind of sand you using? have any sponges on equipment? use bio balls? Nitrates are being added to tank because your tap water is 5.

More than likely it is due to overfeeding.Unless you added used live sand or had die off from your liverock. If you have a fuge with macroalgae it could be your phosphate concentration, have you checked for phophates?

Because you have fish poo in your tank.

thanks for the compliment on my tank earlier--makes all the time worthwhile that you put into this site worthwhile

here is a good article on nitrate removal through water changes

basically 30 percent once a month will reduce nitrates alot more effeciently then a small number of water changes that you have been doing

people in Poland have marine tanks so you should be good for now:lol: using poland spring water

They just add up with time. It could also be another source but you cant tell cause you cant rule tap water out.

Spring water is bad to use, Distilled water is better
