I have a total of 290 watts.
My tank is a standard 55 gal. I have two 12,000k (power compact)and two Actinc 03 (power compac), two 24" 15 watt each 6500K flouresent, and 8 lunar lights.
My question is how long should each type of lamp be on? Each has it's own power cord and timer.
Currently i am running all on at the same time and all off at the same time. for 13 hours a day.
I want to add some corals to my tank, but don't know about the timing for the lights or what type of coral I can add with this lighting.
I switched from a freshwater planted tank to a reef tank. i have about 50 pounds of live rock, 3.5 inch live sand bed, a cleaning crew for 55 gal. and a 20 gal refugium with several types of algae.
So, how should I time the lights? What type of coral can I have, and is the amount of live rock and size of the refugium enough?
