Need Advice on Closed Loop External Pump...
60g (36x15x25 tall) diy custom display w/ internal end overflo. 30g sump/fuge w/ EHEIM 1250Water Pump - 317 gph

3ft head. efficiency is a priority and looking to spend <$200

Do these gph look suitable for my future setup? The closed loop will be my primary source of flow w/ 1-2 outlets. Display will house mixed reef/aussi biotope at a depth of 3m-7m.

considering the following pumps for external use on a closed loop and would like any advice or opinions. thanks.
also open to other pump suggestions.

EHEIM 1262 Water Pump - 898gph
Iwaki MD 20RLT - 420gph - Japan
PanWorld 50PX-MD30R External Water Pump - 590gph
PanWorld 50PXX-MD30X External Water Pump - 1110gph

Get a dart. it might cost you a bit more than $200...just a little, but its best to have that extra flow at your fingertips by simply opening up a valve instead of having to replace the pumpo when you decide you want more.

not the snapper.........seriously...get the dart. same pump...more flow potential

With as well as these pumps run tapered back using less electricity and less wear and tear on the pump when tapered back, i dont even know why the snapper exists

Just invest in ear plugs :)

My sequence barracuda was brutal. I will never do a CL again. I now welcome powerheads with open arms. lol

I have a PanWorld 50PXX (1100gph) on my 40B. On a 60 I'd think you'll want more flow.
