I'm looking for a decent 10000k T5 HO bulb that is more to the blue spectrum so it shows off the blues of the fish well. I've seen some 10000k bulbs that are mostly white and not much blue at all. I prefer the lighter bluish look so can someone tell me if you have used one that is more blue? I do not have actinic bulbs, as this is just a fowler, so I do not want to add anymore bulbs. So basically I have a stand alone bulb that I want to put a 10000k bulb that shows off the blues well. Any input? Thanks.

Gord.

why do you need a 10000K bulb? Most of the ones I have seen are white. You can do a BluePlus bulb. That will be blue.

But wouldn't the blue+ be totally blue? Its a stand alone bulb on a fowler, so I can't have it totally blue. I just want something in the 10000k range that is white but shows the blues well. I'm just concerned because my friend got a UVL 10000k Aqua Sun and it actually looks redish.
