Have a 4x54W T5 Nova Extreme. The fan was just way too loud for me so I decided to replace it. Had a hard time finding "quiet" fans that come in 50mm size, (SilenX seems to be the leader in quiet air movement, but they do not have a 50mm version :( ) I eventually found two:

Delta EFB0512LA: 7.50 CFM, 18.0 dBA
Rasurbo 5011M-B: 17.0 CFM, 22.0 dBA

The stock one is:

Quickflow RDH5015B: 10.8 CFM, 30.75 dBA

I currently have the Delta installed (Rasurbo on hand) and it's running smoothly; just a hint of noise when you're 5-8 feet away, compared to jet turbine of the stock fan. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks.

Yeah this was my main problem with this unit.

I know some here have went with an adjustable fan set up to replace the stock fan.

I was wondering when someone was gonna do that.
Where can I buy one?
