I want to set up a 10 gallon sump for a 29 gallon tank and I am wondering what would be the best skimmer for this? I can't spend more than 300 though if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So you want a insump skimmer? Will you have a constant water level for the skimmer? Also how much room do you have for the skimmer?

Check out the smaller Octopus skimmers, EuroReef's RS80 or any similar small needlewheel skimmer. I think a small NW skimmer would be great for your setup.

Just get an octo ps120 or octo ps150. ER rs80, any would work.

I'd suggest this one as it will be plenty of skimmer up to a 75-90g max.

The one USC is referring to is an awesome skimmer but i think it'll be overkill in this size tank. Its good for a 125g -150g.
