is my whole tank tempered ?

Does anyone know how to find out if a tank is made of tempered glass or nontempered I'm afraid to drill it someone on here told me it may be all tempered it is a 55 gallon tank standard size 48 x 12 x i'm not sure how tall. does the glass look different

most 55 gal. tanks are tempered on all sides. you would have to check with the manufature to be sure but if it is an AGA then it most likely is tempered
