containers for additives

I am putting together a mix of baking soda to help raise my alk..

Is it ok to use old milk cartons or orange juice containers as long as they are rinsed thoroughly?

i use old hawaiian punch bottles and things are fine but you should wait for the chem people.

Any food grade well rinsed container.
With no addtional information i must ask.
If the reading was checked in the morning for more accurate reading and its not off to much and this is a new setup then this could be normal.PH and Alk seem to stay off the first few months and slowly come in order while tank matures. Whene it does then you know your one more step away from total addiction and a better understanding.
