I just noticed for the first time that the BiColor angelfish that I have had for about a year has some new spots on it's head. He has a salmon colored spot the size of a pin head on each side of his head about 1mm above the gill in exactly the place on each side. He also has a spot on each side of his chin in exactly the same place. He is behaving normally.
I have looked a pictures of BiColor Angels to see if this is normal adult coloration but have not found any that show these spots. I doubt this is a disease process because the coloration is so symmetrical. Any ideas?
