I have a gold spotted rabbitfish and a magnificent rabbitfish I would like to put in the same tank (96"x36"x30"). Anyone else do this. Everywhere I read says not to mix rabbitfish.

I read the same thing about mixing rabbits but I had a large Doliatus that was just a sweetheart so I decided to try and add another rabbitfish. I put a much smaller Fiji foxface in last week and the Doli pretty much ignored it, now they swim around together and even feed off the same nori clip. Maybe I got lucky but I have had no problems so far. My tank is a standard 180 BTW.

Glad to hear yours are doing good. Both of my fish are about 5"-6" in size. I am looking for long term because fish sometimes get a little mean as they mature.

you have a huge tank............i think you will be ok..........rabbit fish aren't typically that territorial toward each other............the larger the tank the more rules that can be bent and the more rules that can be broken :)
