For those of you who use IO salt, what is recommended the plain IO salt or the IO plus reef crystals blend?

I guess the #'s on the reef crystals are supposed to be a little better but I'm happy with the standard IO. I can't get the other in without having it shipped...

Every time I use Reef Crystals I get Calcium sediment (crystallized). So I got me the regular IO and sure enough, no calcium sediment. Then I tried RC (the same one I had before) again last week just to make sure...again, sediment. Then I mixed half IO and half RC...sediment ! DId I just get a bad batch?

When I tried Reef Crystals recently I got a lot of white sediment (either undissolved salt or precipitate), and the calcium tested at 350. I'm going back to IO. It's easy to boost the calcium and magnesium and it doesn't have any sediment. And it's cheap!

Instant Ocean with a little extra mag and a touch of Calcium.

On 7 gallon water change I add 2.5 ounces of Seachem Reef Adv Mag and 1 teaspoon of Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium to get my new water ionically balanced for my reef.
